My favourite Vestibular Amazon Products!

Hi Reader,

Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are here, so let's chat about some of the best vestibular products on Amazon, and currently part of their Prime Big Deal!

Weighted Vest

If you have been following me, you know how much I LOVE a weighted vest. This gives external cueing about gravity and your sense of vertical, which is something most of my vestibular patients have issues with. You can wear a weighted vest while working on balance exercises, walking, or even in the car or grocery store if those environments cause symptoms for you. This one below is my absolute favourite, and it's on sale!

Balance Pad

We have three balance systems: vision, vestibular and proprioception. When we are working on vestibular rehabilitation, it can be helpful to challenge each of these systems specifically to get a full recovery. Balance pads come in handy when working on our proprioception. It can later help us feel more stable when we are on uneven surfaces such as grass, sand, or gravel. You can use it by standing on it with feet together, closing your eyes, or my favourite, marching on the spot! This can be a more advanced exercise, so be sure to talk to a vestibular physiotherapist before using it.

Migraine Relief Cap

If your dizziness is due to vestibular migraines, headaches and head/sinus pressure may be a significant symptom you are struggling with. A migraine relief cap can be kept in the freezer and then used to provide a cooling effect to the head during an attack. I also really like it as I find many people have a positive response to the compression sensation around their head, which can help when feeling floaty and disconnected.

Ginger Chews

These aren't on sale, but at $5.39, they are such a great buy, I included them anyways! I have these in my clinic for anyone experiencing nausea while undergoing vestibular tests and they are well loved. You can grab the original or the ginger mango chews, both tasty and give great nausea relief!

Amazon Prime Big Deal Day ends tomorrow, so if anything interests you head there soon to take a look.

And if you are wondering what other products may be helpful on Amazon, I have created various pages to guide you on products that I use and like. Feel free to email me if you are wondering about any product in particular and how it can help!

Thank you as always for being part of this amazing vestibular community! Happy shopping!
